Description of Job Duties:
You will project manage multiple concurrent projects across Engineering (ASIC Hardware Software SQA) across the company (Sales Product Management Product Marketing Customer Service Operations and Finance) and across multiple companies (including Customers Partners and Vendors). Initially you will focus in 2 areas: NMS Project Management and SMS (BRAS) Project Management. Over time you will manage other hardware and software projects and may manage relationships with key vendors and partners. You will own the delivery of these products and work with the team in a hands-on manner. Description of Job Qualifications:
Strong candidates should have a good mix of technical organizational and communication skills. 5+ years in engineering management and project management. 5+ years telecom/networking experience. History of delivering projects on time and innovative thinking. Demonstrated expertise fostering good communication among peers and coworkers at both local and remote sites. Demonstrated expertise in project planning and management teambuilding and coordinating diverse concurrent activities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with hw and sw related products and hands-on experience with the design and deployment of service provider Broadband triple-play Video over IP VoIp IP/Multicast IP/QoS and IP/MPLS essential. Field-level system engineer background is a definite plus.
