About the Redback PowerPartners Program
The Redback PowerPartners Program is designed to empower our reseller partners with the tools and knowledge needed to successfully sell Redback solutions to Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and carriers. Redback Networks Partnership Business ModelFIVE TIERS OF RESELLER INVESTMENT Redback recognizes that different business models may fit the needs of our resale channel. As a result, we have developed several different resale Tiers in which our Partners can participate. Redback believes that while the business model presented in each Tier is effective for selling Redback Products, the greater commitment a Partner makes in the infrastructure to support product sales, the more successful the Partner will be. Redback Channel Partners are invited to participate at the following levels: ResellerThe Reseller model is designed for resellers who have made the minimum revenue and resource commitments to Redback. Value Added ResellerThe Value Added Reseller model is designed for partners who make a more extensive commitment to resell Redback Products. Value Added Resellers may operate in one country or in several different countries within a geographic region and demonstrate technical competence from all sales offices Strategic PartnerThe Strategic Partner model is designed for partners who position, generate demand for, and sell Redback Networks solutions. These Partners make a more extensive commitment to Redback Networks with a large regional capability to resell and service Redback Products Premier PartnerThe Premier Channel Partner model reflects a greater commitment to reselling Redback Products. These are Systems Integrators that position and sell the complete suite of Redback products to carriers, service providers and large enterprises. It is a Tier designed for Partners with an extensive sales and support capability whether in one country or a large geographic region that have made a significant revenue and resources commitment to Redback Global Premier PartnerThe ultimate Partner category. Global Premier Partners meet all the criteria of Premier Partners, but on a worldwide basis. These partners meet the highest standards for sales, marketing and service in providing Redback solutions to multiple theaters To determine which Tier would be most appropriate for you, please contact your Regional Channel Account Manager.
