Redback Networks and Dynavar Networking Sign Agreement for a Strategic Relationship 

Leading Americas Systems Integrator Teams with Redback to Resell Next-Generation Broadband Platforms

SAN JOSE, Calif., August 16, 2005 – Redback Networks Inc. (NASDAQ: RBAK), a leading provider of next-generation broadband networking systems, today announced that it has signed a reseller agreement with systems integrator Dynavar Networking, of Bellevue, Washington. The agreement covers the resale of, and associated support services for, Redback’s SmartEdge® Service Gateway and Router platforms as well as the NetOp™ Element and Policy Manager suite.
