Our Commitment to Supplier Diversity

For ten years, Redback Networks has been committed to equal opportunities for women, minorities and disabled-veterans.   In December 2006, we have extended this commitment to our partners and suppliers.  We are launching a supplier diversity program to bolster the participation of women, minorities and disabled-veteran owned enterprises who contribute to our overall supply chain.
Supplier diversity involves a change in the way things are done.   It involves partnering with our customers, integrating our diversity goals with their diversity goals.  It also involves knowing how each Redback employee can make a difference, helping Redback identify and source products and services from business owned by women, minorities and disabled -veterans.  As many of you know, Redback’s primary goal is to deliver the best products it can for our customers including AT&T, Verizon and Embarq.  To make that work, we need a diverse set of suppliers who understand our quality focus and commitment to customer service.
